High-tech digital signage serves as gateway to real-time results and event information
Calgary, AB --- November 30, 2004 --- SMART Technologies Inc. announces its sponsorship of the 2004 CIBC Lake Louise Winterstart World Cup held November 27 to December 5, 2004. While Canada hosts the world's top male and female downhill and super G racers in Lake Louise, SMART is providing the official interactive information kiosk in the main lobby of the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, where the event headquarters is located. SMART's interactive digital signage gives World Cup spectators, race participants and visitors access to real-time race results, athlete biographies, event details and much more. Users simply touch the surface of the display to access the information they need. SMART's interactive overlay is combined with a large plasma or LCD display to create a kiosk that is both highly visible and interactive.
